Laid Back Dog Enjoys Soothing Ocean Sounds

Susan Sloan March 7, 2022

A Golden Retriever named Oshie was filmed by his owner relaxing by the beach. As you can see, this laid back dog is very calm and relaxed. Is he just naturally this calm or has something at the beach helped him achieve this blessed state? Perhaps it’s because this dog knows that soon, he will be going home to enjoy a delicious golden snack. That, or maybe he just likes to chill out.

Oshie is not just any pup, he is a very laid back dog

This naturally laid back dog didn’t react like most retrievers. Usually, a visit to the beach jolts their energy level, and most retrievers would run around until they couldn’t anymore. Oshie decided to just relax and enjoy the calming and soothing experience. The sun, sand, and ocean sounds gave the dog the complete relaxation package, so he settled down.

The relaxed retriever even laid down as though to take a nap. His Fur Mom laughed at her furry son’s behavior, but we think this dog was wise to just enjoy and absorb all the calming vibes. If it were us, we’d feel like going to sleep too. There’s just something about calm seas and quiet surroundings that make us want to nap. And the warmth of the sun enhances the sleepiness.

Oshie stretched out and took in the sights, sounds, and the feel of the wind caressing his fur. Ah, we’d love to be there with you!

His mom’s instinct to upload this video without music was perfect. The sound of the sea gently lapping at the seashore bathed all our worries away. This dog really knows how to treat himself to a holiday!

Just another day at the beach for this lucky retriever. Oshie is certainly on the right track to a blissful afternoon. Who knew being so calm and relaxed could be so easy? This lucky dog’s naturally relaxed attitude is a good example for us. Will you make sure we flop your bellies on the sand just like Oshie did the next time you hit the beach?

After taking a two minute virtual beach break, please share the experience with your friends. Here’s to relaxing beach experiences for all of us as often as we can enjoy them.

Enjoy this story about a dog relaxing at the pool. The common factors are sun and water. Hmmmm. https://happymutt.org/great-dane-spends-a-lazy-afternoon-in-the-pool/
