A refreshing, over-night sleep can help make our day more enjoyable and productive. An afternoon nap can revive us and give us a second-wind to get through a long day.
But if we are awakened by one our favorite people, everything just feels so much better. In this video, a gorgeous Husky patiently waits for her non-furry sibling to wake up so she could shower him with sweet, if sloppy, kisses.
On a recent warm day in Manchester, UK, a Siberian husky named Millie appeared to be bored. She had become tired of waiting for her favorite playmate to wake up and play with her.
How It All Started
Millie’s “dad” noticed her boredom so he removed the second-floor gate so Millie could sneak into her little brother’s room. After all, what better way to wake up from a nap than by receiving sweet puppy kisses?
Millie quickly took advantage of the gate being removed and right away went to his little brother’s room. She promptly laid down beside Parker, who was having his afternoon nap at that time.
Initially, Millie’s movements were careful and slow so she wouldn’t disturb Parker while he was napping. She enjoyed just being close to him.
After a while, Millie relized that Parker was taking a long time in his nap. So, she looked at their “dad”, seemingly asking questions like, “Why is he still napping? Isn’t it time for him to wake up and play with me?”
Then, Millie leaned closer to the sleeping Parker. She gave him a gentle kiss, expecting it to wake him up but Parker just kept on napping. Before long, Millie began to become impatient in waiting for her him to wake up an play with her.
As she heard Parker’s loud snores, she tried a more aggresssive tactic and licked his face. However, Parker is a heavy sleeper so Millie’s lick did not bother him at all. The confused canine looked at her “dad” once more, as if asking him why Parker was not awake yet.
Eventually, Millie decided to just wait for her little brother to open his eyes. Maybe she realized that Parker might not like it if she repeatedly disturbed his afternoon nap.
Instead of actively trying to wake Parker, she next gently placed her paw on Parker and waited for him to wake up and play with her. Her sweet looks and gestures are what make her look so cute and precious.
Results of The Wake Up Call
After waiting for a few minutes, Millie was rewarded with little Parker finally waking up from his afternoon nap. Obviously, Parker was not expecting to see Millie resting by his side.
Parker’s eyes reveal how happy and excited he was to see Millie waiting for him to wake up. Millie expresses her overflowing love and affection to Parker.
If you listen carefully, the video reveals their obvious affection for one another as well as what Parker really thinks about sloppy, wet Millie kisses.

A recorded clip of the two made its way to YouTube. Surprisingly, it received a total of five million views!
Millie’s dad was the one who created the Youtube channel, @milperthusky. The recorded clip was uploaded there, and they were shocked to see many positive comments from the viewers.
Actually, the @milperthusky name was not solely made just for Millie. Aside from Millie, there are two more huskies named Rupert (the pert in the name) and the newest member, Lola.
Who would have thought that all three pups would become dog celebrities!
Other than a YouTube channel, the pups also have an Instagram account. From exciting adventures and travels to cuddles and kisses, their “dad” surely keeps their followers updated all the time.
