A young boy was having a blast running freely across the family’s front lawn with his dog cavorting along side of him when out of nowhere came a threat to the child. Two large dogs ran on to the scene, appearing to be in attack mode as they ran directly for the child.
Although there was no human close enough by to rescue the child, all was not lost! Luckliy, the child’s dog immediately saw the attack coming and jumped in to save the little boy. The family dog went from Playmate to Faithful Protector mode at the beat of a heart. After first pushing the child out of harm’s way, the dog then proceeded to drive the two offending dogs off the property and away from the kid.
He was joined in the final stages of forcing the two attacking dogs off the property by an unidentified man. An adult female, presumably a family member, quickly grabbed the child up in her arms to comfort him and to keep him safe. Someone close enough to the scene of the attempted attack aand subsequent rescue, captured this event on camera. It did not take long for the video to go viral.
The entire attempted attack only took about 8 seconds to take place from start to finish thanks to the hero dog taking quick action.
