As a child, did you ever lie on the ground, staring at the clouds above and let your imagination run wild? Were there times that it took no imagination for you to see a picture or even a message in the clouds? Was one of those messages “All Dogs Go To Heaven”?
Do you, as an adult, still take the occasional moment to stare at the clouds and let your imagination run wild? Most of us have very little time to spare from our daily responsibilities to enjoy such a timeless pleasure once we become adults.
However, one adult recently took a moment from their busy lives to look at the clouds and guess what they saw! Their brief return to a childhood activity confirmed what many have believed to be true for a very long time, that all dogs go to heaven!
While this is in no way evidence written in the sky, many dog lovers think it is a reasonable substitute. Do you think heaven would be the most perfectly desirable place to spend eternity if dogs were not allowed to enter there?
Dog lovers everywhere are excited when they see clouds that appear to be dogs in the heavens. Every so often, a dog-lover will post a photo of such a cloud formation on social media. At least one photo reveals a dog running and cavorting playfully with a look of sheer joy on its face. Another photo shares a more peaceful, relaxed, and resting dog in the heavens.
We know that these are just clouds and not real dogs. However, we cannot help but think of the age-old comment that all dogs go to heaven when we see them. Maybe we merely want reassurance that the dogs we have loved and lost over the years are in a better place and hope to see them again.
Dogs are loyal, trustworthy companions who give us unconditional love and devotion. It is no wonder that we want to find evidence that they have an eternal place when they leave this earth, preferably with us. We think they deserve a place in heaven and we want to spend eternity with them! Seeing such cloud formations give spiritual inspiration and hope to those who see them, whether it is in person or via the internet.
What Do You Think? Do All Dogs Go To Heaven? Yes or No?
While many people will write off these photos as anything but the vivid imagination of a wistful dog-lover who has lost a dog, not everyone feels that way. Regardless of your take on this topic, we have to admit that losing a canine companion is very difficult. We cannot blame anyone for wanting to believe that all dogs go to heaven, can we?
Losing a beloved companion, two-legged or four, rips out a piece of your heart. Are you not comforted by thinking that they might be in heaven, waiting to greet you when you join them?
There is no need to post negative comments or to fault those grieving the loss of a canine companion if they find comfort in these photos. “Hope springs eternal” is an age-old saying that reinforces the need for moments like this. It is probably why dog-lovers are so quick to share this kind of photo on social media.
Do you share these photos when you see them? Do you think of them as flukes of nature coupled with an active imagination or a divine source of hopeful encouragement?
I guess the big question is, do you think that all dogs go to heaven? Yes or No?
