“God makes no mistakes “ is the message of this article. There are times when we “accidentally” run across something that speaks to our hearts in a very special way.
This is one of those times and what I found needs to be shared with others. I think you will agree and ask you to be generous in your sharing as well. You never know when someone needs to hear this message.
Special moments like this are everywhere but we do not always see them. When we keep our eyes, minds, and hearts open, we will recognize more of these precious moments.
Introductions to the filmmaker and the stars of the show
Ana, the child’s mother filmed this encounter between a timid child with Downs’ Syndrome and a loving female Labrador Retriever. (The child’s name is Herman and the dog’s name is Himalaya.)
A gentleman named James Stenson was so touched by the original clip that he edited it and put it to music. Ana was so taken by the way Stenson edited the video that she contacted him to share some vital and touching details.
She told Stenson that Herman tends to be withdrawn. He is uncomfortable with physical contact and tries to avoid it whenever possible. Herman does not want to be touched.
Himalaya was so gentle and loving as she patiently insisted on connecting with Herman. Her obvious gentleness was moving to all who observed the interaction.
Ana does not believe that God makes mistakes and that all things happen for a reason. What do you believe?
Details of the touching text “God Makes No Mistakes”
Stenson revealed that the text for his edited version of the encounter was also very special. The inspiration for the text came from a beautiful young girl who also has Downs’ Syndrome.
She proudly informed him that “God didn’t make a mistake when he made me”. The precious little girl also shared with him what her daddy often told her. He made sure she knew that she was a “Gift from God”.
Her attitude let Stenson know that she trusted what her daddy told her to be the truth. Stenson was so touched by this comment that he felt compelled to use her words in his first-ever edited video.
As you watch this video clip, you will be touched. When Himalaya embraces the boy by placing her paw so gently on his shoulder, you can almost hear her tell him she loves him.
If this encounter does not melt your heart, call the cardiologist because you may not have one. If it does, then feel free to share it with your friends.
