A Golden Retriever named Fred is surely one such lucky pup. As his birthday approaches, his loved ones knew that they have to do something quirky to make the celebration extra special. The family then decided to throw Fred a surprise birthday bash!

Fred was outside the house, playing and enjoying his me-time. Meanwhile, the family took this opportunity to set up the celebration.

When it was time for the Golden Retriever to come back inside, the family turned off the lights and hid. And as Fred entered through the door, everyone jumped and yelled.
When Fred heard the joyful yelling, his became quite obviously excited. He was clearly over the moon! He kept jumping around and showing everyone the big smile on his face. One of the family members even exclaimed that Fred had no idea and that they caught him totally off guard.
Fred was then led to his birthday throne, and everyone sang the Happy Birthday song. He was even presented with a pup cake, which he definitely loved.
Fred’s loved ones are aware that throwing the pup a surprise party was quite extra. Nevertheless, they didn’t care at all since they loved Fred so much!

A video of the surprise party was uploaded to TikTok where it has received more than five million views. It also has 984.4K likes and over 4.9K comments.
One TikTok user said that the video made her want to cry. Another admired the amount of effort everyone put in – the family members even wore matching t-shirts! A lot simply wished Fred a very happy birthday.
