Oscar was a happy dog that lived in a loving home. But one day, his life changed. His family decided to move so they sold their house and left him behind. In a snap, he became homeless. The sad, deserted dog waited outside his old home for over a year.
The poor dog did not understand that his family no longer wanted him. Oscar patiently waited outside the gate of his old home and hoped that one day, his owners would come back. But sadly, they never did.
For more than a year, Oscar lived a difficult life on the streets. The neighbors made sure he didn’t starve, but no one was able to provide him with the home he needed. He struggled, but because he loved life, he survived.
After spending so much time on the streets, the dog finally realized he was on his own. Besides the neighbor’s cats, he didn’t have any other friends to keep him company. No one took care of him and, as a result, he became filthy and his fur began to matt.
How The Life of A Deserted Dog Changed In A Heart Beat
The once happy pup suddenly became a lonely homeless dog. But that was until Love Furry Friends Animal Rescue stepped in. As soon as the rescuers learned about him, they decided to help out and change his life.
Oscar went straight from the lonely streets to the animal clinic for medical care. His vaccines were brought up to date and he received treatment against parasites. He was neutered and, once he recovered, he spent a full day enjoying his spa treatment.
Oscar seemed happy to feel clean again. He looked so handsome after getting his haircut that he caught the attention of many people. They were impressed with how gorgeous he was but they admired his resiliency more.
Soon, Oscar found his forever home. His new mom and dad spoiled him right from the start. They showered him with lots of love and gave him tons of toys because they felt it was the kind of life he truly deserved.
Sadly, dogs are too often abandoned. Here is another such story. https://happymutt.org/scared-and-hungry-puppy-stuffed-inside-a-mailbox/
